The Harrogate and District Union of Golf Clubs is the smallest of the eight District Unions which constitute the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs. It was founded in January 1943 when representatives from the Harrogate, Knaresborough, Oakdale and Pannal clubs met and agreed to form the Union.
